How come we become infatuated with certain people and not others?

I wish I knew, I always end up infatuated with the cruelest, coldest, meanest, and most vicious women to live on this earth. I'm not even sure if there's such thing as a decent woman. I'm nothing like that in fact dead opposite, but it seems that is always what i connect with. So that's the answer those certain kind of people are who you connect with. Without that your in a relationship and all alone.
