How to keep pipes from freezing this winter?

We are getting a pellet stove for the house this winter to use as our primary source of heat. How do we keep the baseboard from freezing? Our hot water tank is also run of the boiler and most of our baseboard pipes and water pipes are in a crawl space open to the basement. It was suggested that we use antifreeze in the heating pipes, but I'm not sure how that works and can you still use the baseboard heat ing you put antifreeze in it?
