Feng Shui Question please?

Firstly I only have a pretty basic understanding of this ancient Chinese philosophy, but I'll try to answer your questions anyway. Anything red is good in feng-shui, try not to have direct lines between entrances to homes, i.e don't have the front door and back door in a direct line, break it up with a nice ornamental screen or bookcase if you can, otherwise you will find money coming in and going straight out of your house, and probably people as well, they wont feel too comfortable. Have your bed at an angle from your bedroom door, not in a direct line (this is called the coffin position). Hang a flute or piccolo tied with a red ribbon in a corner of the house which you feel has bad energy, it promotes good luck and good finances. Im sorry, but I do not know anything specific about mirrors, but I can tell you that hanging small bells tied together around the house tied with red ribbon are also extremely good feng-shui. Good Luck getting your chi right. Oh, and one last thing. NEVER have cut flowers or plants in your house, they are dying and bring bad luck and energy. A living plant like a Madonna lily or a tub of bamboo is great as long as it is living, and not dead or plastic. Little Buddha statues are fine and bring wealth and harmony into your home, in fact anything made of br or gold as a display item is fine. Also you may want to invest in one of those little running water fountains they also promote terrific chi,and a sense of peace in your home.
