Help with the watergate scandal?

Nixon lost to Kennedy in 1960 due to voter fraud in Illinois and Texas. In those days it was common knowledge that 'dead people' voted in Chicago. Lyndon Johnson, as Kennedy's VP running mate had influence in the outcome of vote counting in Texas. Losing this election fed Nixon's paranoia and he vowed it would never happen again. This paranoia led him to get involved in the Watergate burglary when he already had a tremendous lead in the polls and the break in was not necessary.
