Puppet on strings aka musharef.?

Oh come on people! Use your heads! Musharef is ruthless (you don't last long in that part of the world if you're not) but he isn't stupid! He's not going to piss off his biggest ally by killing their stooge. Besides, who had more to fear from Bhutto, Musharef (who could probably live like a prince in exile anywhere in the world when he leaves office) or the Muslim fanatics who hate secularists in general and women in particular? They weren't about to sit by and watch the country taken over by a woman who's the antithesis of everything they stand for. To his credit, Musharaf tried to do the right thing by keeping a lid on these wackos, but WE were the ones who wanted the state of emergency lifted, and the Bhutto ination is the price we pay for reigning him in!
